abstract: The objective of the study was to compare death rate as an outcome of adverse effect of therapeutic agents between the United States and several European countries and to assess its relation to life expectancy and Direct-to-Consumer Advertising. The comparison also included how pharmaceutical spending relate to life expectancy in each of the regions.
